3-D Flower Mesh Sweater, American Apparel/ Acid washed Jeans & book bag, H&M/ choker as headpiece, vintage
Being a student during the cold seasons means I don’t usually want to walk around in 5 inch heels and thin layers when I have a pile of textbooks to carry and a hefty outdoor walk in between classes. It’s important for me to stay warm and comfortable but still make fashion conscious choices. I find that simplicity is the key!
I am wearing my 3-D flower mesh sweater from American Apparel which is heavy enough to keep me warm and I paired it with the only pair of jeans I ever wear these days. And if you want to hear all about my relationship with them, you can read it on a past post here! I want to be able to walk through piles of snow so I stuck to my vintage combat boots. I am not a fan of back packs unless they are the tiny pleather ones that can only carry some chapstick and change, so for as long as I can remember I carry book bags instead. I though the animal print went really well with the overall subtle look.
My headpiece is actually a choker that used to belong to my mom in the 80’s. I love to find other purposes for my jewllery.
