Psychedelia (Part One)

Dress, Rowme/ Hat, H&M/ Boots, Ebay/ Armlet, DIY

Hello dolls! Let me get real with you guys for a moment, and if you don’t care you can skip to the last paragraph. For those of you that don’t know I am currently a fashion design student, and I am expected to create magnificent articles of clothing (that’s how I perceive it) on a daily basis. I have been having one of those weeks where nothing I create seems good enough and I come out blank when I try to think of new ideas. I felt the same way with blogging and the reason for my week long absence. I believe this is called creative block and in my attempt to search through google for a “cure” I stumbled across an article about how artists paint the same object over and over again in different ways to stimulate their creativity. So I thought why not try that out for fashion! I’m going to attempt to create three completely different looks using this one dress in the next few days. I can already tell that this project has my creative flow coming through again, and I encourage you to try this with your art form if you too are suffering from creator’s block!

This absolutely adorable armlet I’m wearing is a little DIY project inspired by a picture I came across on instagram. I recorded the process and I will be editing and posting it onto my youtube channel for anyone who is interested in the next few days! For more fashion DIYs, subscribe to my channel Here!

P.S. I finally got a backpack!

  1. That’s a great way to get out of a creative block! Definitely have to keep that mind if I ever get in that type of situation. The dress is really cute and I love the boots! That’s a nice DIY armlet too, nice and simple ♡
